Nourishing Success, One Meal at a Time

At MCCPS, our Food Services Department is driven by a simple belief: *good nutrition and learning go hand in hand.* Our mission is to nourish student success by serving wholesome, balanced meals prepared fresh every day in our scratch kitchen. Working collaboratively, our team crafts meals using only the best ingredients — low-fat proteins, whole wheat grains and pastas, and fresh fruits and vegetables sourced from local farmers throughout the school year. We are committed to creating a positive, enjoyable dining experience that supports both health and learning. With 40% of a child’s daily nutrients coming from school meals, our efforts make a measurable difference — fueling academic achievement, improving overall health, and helping children make lifelong healthy choices.
