MCCPS is a dynamic reform-minded educational environment where staff and students engage in hands-on, integrated, project-based learning activities that culminate in three public exhibitions of student work each year. Our community of learners consists of 230 students enrolled in grades 4-8; there are 2 classes at each grade level. Approximately 20% of the students are on IEPs, and we employ an inclusion model to address their needs.
MCCPS seeks high energy, innovative team players who are organized, flexible, and willing to invest themselves in a professionally collaborative setting. A bachelor’s degree is required. Appropriate certification, experience, and a master’s degree are preferred. Demonstration of subject matter knowledge and strong computer skills are necessary. The ability to work well with others in a fast-paced collegial environment is imperative. A writing sample may be required before an offer of employment is made.
