Q: What are lunches like?
A: Sit with friends, good quality food, many varieties, snack bar, salad bar.

A: The food is always made fresh. There’s always a variety, like hot and cold or bagel. There are new and interesting foods to try everyday and the food always tastes good!

Q: How do teachers react to students?
A: They’re respectful and always answer questions.\

Q: What are the teachers like?
A: Strict but nice, make learning fun.
A; The teachers seem to enjoy their jobs here and are always there for help.

Q: How long is the school day?
A: 7:45-3:15

Q: Homework?
A: A lot.

Q: What are the grade levels?
A: 4,5,6,7,8

Q: What’s a stick?
A: A stick is something earned by walking a lap around the school’s filed.

Q: Do you have recess?
A: Yes, we have 2 half-hour recesses a day.

Q: What’s an enrichment?
A: An enrichment is an activity that takes place from 2:30-3:15 that is an elective.

Q: Does everyone eat lunch at the same time?
A: Yes

Q: How’s the lunch?
A: Best in the state. The lunches are good and homemade. You can have breakfast.

Q: Do you have to begin MCCPS in 4th grade only?
A: No, you can come to MCCPS in any grade 4-8. Both ways are entertaining and welcoming.

Q: Is it a cool school?
A: Yes, because I learn a lot.

Q: What specials does the school have?
A: Gym, Art, Wellness, Music, French/Spanish, Technology.

Q: What is a Commendation?
A: Something you get when you ‘re good.

Q: What is a referral?
A: Something you get when you do something bad.

Q: Why is our time schedule different than other schools?
A: We have a longer day because we have 2 half hour recesses, and a 45 minute enrichment.

Q: Why don’t we use A,B,C, D, and F’s?
A: We don’t’ want to average, yet we want to show the progress the students are making.

Q: Are cell phones and ipods around?
A: Cell phones should be off in bag. Ipods only at certain times or with permission.

Q: Do we have athletics?
A: Soccer, basketball, track and filed, cross country running.

Q: What’s exhibition like?
A: It is an end of the semester presentation were students from every grade level shows what they’ve learned by doing several projects.

Q: What do kids do at recess?
A: Kids talk, play games and eat snack.

Q: How many kids are in each grade?
A: Approximately 46, 2classes of 23 for each grade.

Q: How many classes a day?
A: We usually have 6, 45minute periods or 3 90 minute periods.

Q: Does the school day seem long?
A: No, it doesn’t seem long, it actually seems short.

Q: What is the outdoor classroom?
A: It’s a garden where students can study or work.

Q: Do we have any class pets?
A: Yes, we have a snake, a guinea pig and a hamster.

Q: Do you have to buy lunch?
A: No you do not, you can bring your lunch.

Q: How much on average does a snack bar snack cost?
A: 75 cents.
