Gymnastics – YMCA Instructors : $ (Cost TBD by enrollment) Drivers for Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays needed

The benefits of YMCA gymnastics lasts a lifetime!

Our gymnastics classes help children greatly in their overall development. Participating in gymnastics offers both physical and emotional benefits to each and every child regardless of ability.  From the first class until the very end of your child’s career, you are sure to appreciate the benefits that gymnastics can provide. The sport of gymnastics provides children with

the opportunity to have fun while exercising. Practicing gymnastics helps improve strength, flexibility and coordination. Additionally, gymnastics gives the opportunity for children to improve their confidence level. Gymnastics enables them to come out of their shell and provides them with opportunities to feel an immediate sense of pride as they learn new skills. Along with these benefits, it can also teach your child the responsibility of practicing well, trying their best and goal setting. The benefits are endless, but one of the most important benefits is the character that is taught through this sport. The benefits from learning certain character traits will be able to help them with their future in any sport, school and into their adult lives. That is one reason why the YMCA puts so much emphasis into teaching the core values of respect, responsibility, honest and caring. The gymnastics staff believes that it is not only our jobs to teach children gymnastics skills, but also to teach life lessons that will carry far beyond their time with us.
