Parents at MCCPS are committed to education. They have chosen MCCPS for their children because their vision and expectations for education mirror the mission at MCCPS and the school’s philosophies. We are a strong school, in part, because we have such committed parents. We think of education as a partnership toward the common goal of providing a stimulating academic program for our students.

Parents are vital members of the MCCPS community. Their significant presence, as volunteers, is evident in a myriad of ways. They are in the art room, kitchen, classrooms and serve as room parents, lead enrichments, and help plan school events. Some are members of the Board of Trustees and Education Foundation, while others serve on Board sub-committees that examine such issues as diversity and fundraising. MCCPS is a thriving organization because of our committed parents.
