So What?
So What?
Have you ever listened to someone tell a story that has no real point. Your mind starts to wander. You wonder how you'll get those minutes of you life back. My friend and I have a rule that whenever we tell a pointless story, we end it with "and then I found five dollars." That phrase lets the listener know that the boring story has ended and they can resume paying attention. No harm, no foul.

In writing have the ability to edit our thoughts, our word choice, and craft our language. Before launching into a pointless story, ask yourself the rule of "So What?"
